Írjon visszajelzéstCountry Gourmet may not be remarkable, but it has consistently satisfied me. I often opt for the daily specials, as they typically feature something unique. The restaurant offers indoor seating, a semi-outdoor area that resembles a sunroom, and a pleasant terrace. There are also large picnic tables available for bigger groups, and the terrace is especially enjoyable on nice days. You place your order at the counter and then bring your food to your table.
Country Gourmet is an excellent spot for brunch. They offer a standard menu as well as daily specials featuring a variety of ingredients, including omelets, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches, and more. The ambiance is laid-back; you place your order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, always fresh, and the portion sizes are generous. They also serve dinner, but I haven't had the chance to try it yet.
The first thing I noticed is that you have to order and pay for your food before sitting down. I found it frustrating that people were waiting behind me while I tried to decide what I wanted; it felt like I was holding everyone up. Plus, I’m not a fan of this policy because it means you have to pay before receiving your meal, so I ended up leaving a 15% tip. Honestly, I was glad I did because the service was just average. I ordered the classic bean and egg breakfast with home fries and a cookie. I had to wait quite a while for my food, and when it finally arrived, the server brought me toast instead of the cookie. Plus, the food wasn’t warm when it came out, and I had to search for ketchup. The eggs were fine, the bacon was good, and while the potatoes were cut smaller than I prefer for home fries, they were tasty. As I was leaving, I overheard the lady behind me telling the server that she had also ordered a cookie instead of toast. Overall, this was a peculiar experience, and I don't think I'll be returning.
