The ambiance is inviting and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available and the food served is delicious and authentic. The salads are well-seasoned and the pasta is cooked to perfection. The chicken Parmesan is tender and flavorful. Overall, it was a perfect night out. Parking is ample near the main street and there is wheelchair accessibility through the back door.
Took my mother here for 80th birthday. The food was excellent from the starters to the mains. Everybody was happy with their meals. The service was excellent and the food came out perfect pace. The staff was very friendly. Very happy with the experience.
Stopped by for dinner. While most restaurants were packed, Vaso Azzurro was mostly empty. But we tried it anyway. Service was slow and at times, lacking. I had to get up and refill my own water from the bar, as the wait staff was either on their phones, too busy mingling with others, or otherwise hanging out without a purpose. We waited 25 min from finishing appetizer to delivery of main course. Had calamari and Linguini Azzurro. The focaccia bread service was good, along with their garlic forward dipping sauce. The calamari was too oily/greasy and the marinara sauce was cold. The Linguini Azzurro was the star of evening. Hot, fresh pasta with a generous portion of fresh and well executed seafood.
We went to the restaurant for my husband's birthday. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! The vibe was casual and slightly upscale. I thought the prices were reasonable. The best part of the evening was the wonderful Happy Birthday song for my husband. I believe it was the owner or manager leading the entire restaurant in song and applause. We are not local. My son is in college nearby which is why we chose a restaurant in Montainview. However, we will likely make point of going back. It was a wonderful experience!
The best thing about our dinner was the staff which was very enthusiastic and chatty so we felt well looked after. The food was disappointing, nothing really standing out. The burata portion was tiny and not that creamy. The tomatoes on the bruschete were tasty but the bread was nowhere near Italian bread. For the main, I had a lasagna which was average, with not enough bechamel. On top of that, there was a loud birthday party next to us, so the staff was playing loud music for them which was ruining our quiet dinner. Overall, I wouldn't recommend there are better value for money restaurants on the same street
