Vine - Mudgee

Out of three dishes two were awful. Pork Belly was rubbery and salmon had a strange taste. Champagne was warm. Management of this restaurant was clearly lacking and service was slow with no customer focus.

I don't understand the two five star reviews so far. The meal was not even worth it with 50% off with an Accor membership. There are far better places to eat in Mudgee. Fried halloumi entree was great. Well cooked and a nice sauce. Steak was tender and perfectly cooked but runied by being overly drenched in very low quality gravy, similar to what you'd get out of a big white bucket with a $10 pub meal. Creamy pasta was more like a bowl of cream soup with some pasta added. Waaaay too much sauce. Toasted almonds were honestly burnt to pitch black. Nothing good about this dish.

Dissapointing. Restaurant is Still Closed during the week. Resort has been full when I have visited over the last few months. Even a limited selected menu would be reasonable. Dinner and accommodation is essential. I Will be enquiring before making next lot of reservations.

Great place. The food is homely, and comforting and done very well. The pork ribs and onion rings were beautifully done, and very nice staff. Totally recommend if you are staying or passing by Mudgee.
