Írjon visszajelzéstThis restaurant is amazing! I was there on Tuesday and chose a 6-course dinner. The cook goes to the market every morning and only buys the best and freshest ingredients you can get. Everything was prepared, arranged and perfectly prepared. A Michelin Star Restauran per excellence.
We were at Shane some time ago, as mentioned other places, parking is not there. We enjoyed the entrance area with bar and lounge and aquarium. We found the place as a whole well, but the furnishings, music, pictures are not our taste. For me, GastroSeele is missing as well as the unprecedented young, very friendly, but obviously inexperienced and passionate servicemen. Advice on wine was unfortunately quite good. Unfortunately, the lightness and courageous concept cannot be transported. The food is certainly good, but I found more professionalism and coordination for this price elsewhere. For less money, I've eaten better and eaten more beautifully and don't get a ticket.
It was a highlight again. With these words you can best describe the visit to this restaurant. We started in the lounge with an aperitive from the daily selection recommended by the friendly service. Tastefully really exciting mango basil vodka. Then we went to our table in the restaurant. We chose the 4 course menu. First the greeting came from the kitchen and of course Shane 's delicious potato bread. The individual corridors were also really anger! Every one of them is a sensation, but the main course with the pastinaken puree has broken my tongue. How did he do that, I've never eaten a puree that tasted so intensely after pastinake and this consistency, just a dream. Well, and then the dessert came: sour cream ice cream, orange ragout and an insane cream Brulee with funny crackling chocolate topping. Really surprising! All in all an evening I won't forget so fast, on weekends I'll try to bake the potato bread from Shane's cookbook and somehow I have to find out how to get such a pastinaken puree. If I've solved this, we'll be back, because Shane is obviously good for surprises again and again! Great that quality is always the same and I can express a recommendation to colleagues, customers and friends without embarrassing me for this place. Now some will ask themselves whether you have to be fine here, because of the high quality of the kitchen and the fine ambience, but those who ask themselves this question, I can only say that they should not worry about it. You should be dressed a little more chic, but the suit, or the little black one does not have to be pulled out of the closet. So go and enjoy!
Shane’s Restaurant is one of my absolute favorites in Munich. The kitchen brings excellent, ingenious creations to the dish that never seem excessively playful, but always put the products at the center of attention. At Shane there is no standard card, more precisely, there is no card, but a daily surprise menu that can be extended from four to eight courses. Of course, attention is paid to allergies and intolerances. I would like to mention the wonderful, homemade potato bread to the appetizers and Amuse Bouches. The wine lists many fine droplets, but at very proud prices. We have always taken the wine tasting into the menu and have been very good. The service is professionally friendly and attentive. The ambience is clear and modern. The space divider divides the rather large space. On the wall is a huge photo of John Wayne and Dean Martin, not, sometimes not as Western heroes, but in civilian kitchen. Nice. The same motif also takes up the second image of Shane McMahon and his father. There is a special feature here. The lounge area has an excellent bar. Here are excellent cocktails prepared, both classics and an old fashion, and new creations where often jars are used that are more likely to be expected in the kitchen (basilikum e.g., either before eating as aperitif or later on the digestive... highly recommended! Not only because of wine tasting and great drinks, you should arrive by public transport, but also because of the notorious lack of parking. (When I heard you can park in the hotel garage
Shanes Kitchen is a truly worthy successor of Holger Stromberg's G! There is no card, but only 3-8 passages of overashmenue. With or without wine tasting. The price is up (we have a 5course menu per person incl. Water and aperetiv € 110 paid) however appropriate to quality. The ambience is beautiful though no longer as harmonious as in the G. The service is competent but partly very easy. The dishes were out and wonderful in taste. However, they could have been a bit warmer. These were also a few constructive criticisms. I still spend 5* as there are too few restaurants of this kind in Munich!
