Miako Teriyaki - Mukilteo

This is the best teriyaki I had in my life! am I dramatic? I'm exaggerating? the bark is not cheap and flimsy, but more of a steak texture and thick. her chicken is breast meat, but is as tender as upper leg meat. in terms of taste it is complex, instead of being just sweet and soy sauce the huh has a subtle sharp kick I think is brilliant. the bark is simply a Umami bomb! they are super generals with their part. you know it's a good business if they don't give up on meat. 10/10

Terrible terrible service! I caller in for a to go order.They didn't even acknowledge rightaway me and he finally asks me if i am there for Doordash! What would make him think that i am there for Doordash? Is that how he greets all of his patrons?

Gritty chicken.Been there quite a few times. I always order the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki. It is pricey, plus with the 30% tip, I expect it will be delicious all the time. I got a big surprise yesterday. The portions are fine, but chicken was either reheated, or cooked on the grill that had not been cleaned for a while. The meat was very gritty, dry, like burnt on teriyaki sauce. When I go I always watch the cook brush off the grill, and clean it before he places the meat on. This time, I did not witness any cooking going on. Perhaps reheating process, the chicken picked up all the stuck-on grill bits. Not good...like eating dirt or sand.
