Pancho Villa - Mulegé

The neighbors next door caught fish. And a whole day fishing wore her out. She took them to Yolanda, (Pancho Villa's wife). She made a wonderful dish, it had shrimp and a whole bunch of vegetables. She served with a salad and fruit. It was wonderful, we'll be back, (soon).

We caught them and they cooked them. It was wonderful. Yolanda, (Pancho Villa's wife) did an excellent job. First we had a fruit plate, then she cooked them two different ways. One was satued in garlic and another one was breaded and fried, there was potatoes and a salad. Then, she brought out little cookies. It was wonderful. The gal who caught the fish wasn't up to cooking them, she was tired of fishing.

It was great, Yolanda (Pancho Villa's wife) is a one woman show, Don't go there hungry, you won't get served right away. After kayaking on the river, we stopped for lunch. I had the Hamburger Tierra Mar, it was huge!! My friend had the shrimp tacos and they were excellent too. The man at the table had fish and chips, the other woman had eggs over easy.....Yolanda had to go to the house to get the eggs. The views are of the lighthouse, the river and the Sea Of Cortez. The views are to die for.

We went for breakfast, (maybe it was brunch) it took a long time, Yolanda was cooking, and everything is made to order. My friend had eggs and toast, they weren 't just any eggs, she made them in toast, what we call hole-the-wall eggs. Another friend had pancakes with scrambled eggs, even put bacon in them, served with hash browns and avocado. Then there was papaya on the plate too. We were served watermelon before, and it was great too. I had an vegetarian omlette, it was great too. Served with hash browns and avocado, with paypa too. As I have said before, the views are great, it 's a little open air palapa, with views of the Sea of Cortez and the Mulege River.

I went with a friend, she was drinking because she had already eaten. The views are superb! So what if you have to wait a while, it's Mexico! And the views are great? I had chicken enchiladas, they were fantastic! We both had Negro Modelo in bottles. It was a pleasant evening, good company, great views and good food
