Dakhsinayan doesn’t need any introduction. Its been around for a really long time. No frills, simply popular because of the authentic food they have been serving years after years. Located in Juhu, next to Iskon Temple, #Dakshinanyan does not allow table reservations. It’s a first come first serve basis only. Especially on weekends, you must be ready to wait for minimum 45 mins to 1 hr if you wish to eat here. But trust me the wait it worth it ! <br <br <br Its a simple place and I think its simplicity pleases its diners. Their food is always on point. Its a must ! Ambassador Idli : Mini idlis soaked in Sambar and garnished with coconut, spices and onion. <br <br Nei Masala Dosai Ghee Masala Dosa <br <br Any of the rice preparations Thakalli Sadam Tomato Rice , Piyadorai Tamarind Rice , Sambar Rasam Rice <br <br or Bisibelle Huliaana this ones cooked with vegetables and pulses. Its too delicious. And don't forget to wash it down with a glass of fresh chaas buttermilk <br To sum it all, anything you eat here is a delight to your taste buds. <br <br Total cost per person does not exceed more than 600 Rs.

The most simple kind of restaurant but yet always packed thus always go there by 7. Loved idlis quite filling and super hot! Like fresh! The food is fresh! Loved the filter coffee never miss. Also the amazing crowd. The staff is always on their toes. And fast service. Love it!

Molgapodi Idli : One of their most recommended dishes, mini idlis tossed in spicy molgapodi powder, with an addition of freshly made ghee. Must try! <br/ ⠀⠀⠀<br/ ⠀<br/ Appam with Stew : Steamed rice pancakes served with a mild coconut based stew. Slightly disappointed with this dish, the stew was too bland with a weird sweet flavor. Not recommended. <br/ ⠀⠀⠀<br/ ⠀<br/ Ulundu Vadai : Can you do without a plate of medu vada when you walk into a South Indian restaurant? <br/ ⠀⠀⠀

Podee idly and the Spring dosa were absolutely amazing,<br/ <br/ Poddee idly with the ghee and special masala tadka really lifted up the dish providing it with superb aroma and a earthiness, can't have enough of it, the taste still lingers in my mouth<br/ <br/ Spring Dosa I was big surprise, loaded with cheese and filling of freshly julienned vegetables was absolutely awesome, filling and tasty<br/ <br/ Sambhar and the ginger ale to top it all was a sonee pe suhagaa moment,<br/ <br/ Slurrrppp
