Stopped in on a whim while waiting for someone at the hospital. So glad I did! Interior was upbeat and reminded me of a place in the city. Everyone was super friendly. A little intimidated with the menu as it's huge!!!! Tons of sushi and random sushi related meals. I chose the soft shell crab roll, 5 pieces for $12, and it was well worth it. Also had the seafood ramen. Lots of shrimp, scallops and fish cake slices. Broth was just enough fish flavor without making it too fishy. I'd give it a 9 out of 10! Definitely coming back. I think it would be good for a date night or a couples night!
Our food was overpriced and not very good. I ordered the Japanese seared steak, medium. It came nearly raw, the outside had just barely been cooked. I normally just accept whatever I’ve ordered and don’t complain, but it literally was cold and inedible, so I sent it back to be re-fired. I’m pretty sure that they just microwaved it- it had the look and texture of boiled chicken (although obviously brown). My husband got the sea bass, it was ok, but had very little seasoning- definitely nothing to warrant the high price. I will say, our server was great. Will i return? Nope.
Food was great. The sushi rolls were priced reasonably and large enough to be worth the price.
My initial thought was the restaurant was very inviting and had great interior decor!We ordered a variety of rolls and hibachi chicken. The food was delicious, absolutely no complaints there.This brings me to the service.From the moment we stepped through the door we felt rushed. We were questioned when our whole party would be there despite the restaurant being empty. Immediately after we finished our meal, a male employee (I’m assuming a manager) came up to our table and stated “sorry to break up the meeting but we need to flip this table”. I understand needing the table, HOWEVER, it could have been stated in a different manner. This manager could have just offered us to move outside as there were tables/seats available. We were actually going to order another round of drinks. Very rude and unprofessional considering this restaurant isn’t cheap and we spent a good amount here.Another warning is this restaurant does not split the bill and they will not run more than 4 credit cards and when they DO run credit cards the bill has to be split evenly across all 4. Very inconvenient for the consumer.
