Coffee was good but there was nothing exemplary about it. We ordered Christmas drinks tho which I think would not expose the coffee taste I would love to explore. Place is somehow bare as I assume it was newly established cafe in Molito, and simplicity was the new beautiful now but it's just so so for me. Surprisingly, they have service charges even the order process was 1. to order coffee at the counter and 2. they would serve it on the table. Coffee was too pricey compared to other starting coffee shops with specialty coffee. (I guess they are paying higher rent considering they are at the open side of Molito) Nevertheless, I love that they tried this new pomme frites (French fries) with curry. It's so smart! And the mix of spices in the coffee was just right.
Great ambience and customer service!! I ordered the pasta al limone (lemon cream pasta) and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The dish was simple without much ingredients but the flavour and cream went really well with each other. Latte was also well done. Plugs and wifi are also available for those looking to work here.
Went in for a post dinner coffee with the missus. We ordered a Flat White (P150.00) and an Iced Bombon Latte (P210.00). The Flat White was too acidic for our taste buds. The coffee art was nice. The Iced Bombon Latte was an interesting drink to order but I personally ended up not enjoying it. The place was fairly filled on a weekend.
As I have an injured knee, I took my time climbing the stairs, only to discover there were no available seats upstairs, prompting me to make my way back down. On my way, I took a moment to look at the merchandise section, but everything appeared quite dusty, including a T-shirt. Once our coffee arrived, it was decent, but when the food came, my eggs Benedict was quite a different story. The two poached eggs were completely undercooked! There was water mixed with the sauce on the bacon, and the egg whites were raw. Unable to eat it, I informed the staff, who asked a question I didn’t fully understand. I assumed he would take it back to be remade. A few minutes later, he returned from the kitchen, saying the chef could only prepare scrambled eggs, and that they couldn’t cook the poached eggs to my liking. Thinking the chef might not want to poach new eggs, I accepted the scrambled option. However, when my dish was brought back, I realized they hadn’t prepared a new plate; they had simply recooked the eggs from my original meal. At that point, I was feeling quite uneasy about the situation, especially considering the risk of salmonella from eating undercooked eggs. I used my knife and fork to probe the eggs and had my doubts about their preparation. I had thought that the lifting of COVID restrictions would have improved food hygiene standards. **Pros:** - Great location - Loft-style ambiance - Coffee was decent **Cons:** - General cleanliness - Food hygiene - Customer service
