The pandan chicken serving size was small and the chicken noodle soup was underwhelming. I liked the bagoong rice tho, and their mango sticky rice. The pricing was on the high side considering the quantity and midling taste. The ambiance is great though, best looking Thai resto in BF. In the consecutive times I ate there on a weekday, one was lunch time and the other one was dinner, the restaurant was empty. Not sure if it's telling of the fact that food taste is middling.
Went here for dinner, we had a hard time finding it, but a tip: medyo tago yung place, may signage naman sa may building sa labas it's just beside na katabi ng conti's, don't be fooled yung building sa harap looks like it's under renovation. But the magic is right behind it. The aesthetics of the place is amazing, they have large mirrors on the wall and beautiful decors. But the food is what's best. The thai shrimp paste rice is not just a normal bagoong rice it has a subtle taste of like idk some spice or something but it was so good paired with the sweet pork and strips of green mango, and the crab meat rice is also good paired with their chicken satay and it's amazing peanut sauce. The beef curry tho was sooo spicy, forgot what it tasted like cause what i remember is that it was so spicy.Had a chat with the owner, her mom is a thai chef that's why you'll have your thai dining experience as authentic as it can beOverall, the ambiance of the place was great, the owner was very friendly, Didn't take that long to get the food served, BTW the prices are on point it was affordable super sulit! The Food (again) was so good.Really a hidden gem in BF I'll be back in this place, anything to reco?
This tiny restaurant serves quite good Thai dishes.I love Thailand and have travelled all over Thailand for couple of months and have tried different dishes. I know what real Thai taste is.They have only few selection of dishes but their noodle soup and salad are great. My favorite thai food is somtom which is papaya salad and this restaurant makes it pretty nice.I have visited here twice and some foods are great and some main dish needs more improvement.Ambiance is good and price is reasonable.Good enough to try thai dishes
Siam Thai Noodle House by Just Thai is hidden behind the building complex, just follow the pebble pavement and you'll be welcomed by a stone elephant by the doorway. A huge portrait carving and a cloth lantern are two of the prominent decors featured inside the restaurant. Air conditioning was cool. We arrived at around quarter to eight in the evening and there are two groups of diners inside. No music was being played and conversations are kept to a minimum. Only one server was present, he guided us to our seats, took our orders and attended to our needs. The place was kept clean and had good interiors. Lighting was a bit dim but not to a point of distraction. We order the fried spring rolls, fried pork noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, pad thai and the banana with langka fritters. We had the Thai Milk tea for our drinks. The drinks were immediately served. The drink was refreshing and had the right amount of milk. Soup as requested was not too spicy. The noodles was packed with squid balls, a couple of ground meat balls, and the fried pork belly. The pork belly reminded me of the crisp liempo my Mom cooks at home. it had a clear crunch and was slightly caramelized on the edges. The pork melted in my mouth. Really good. Too bad it only had 5 thin slices of it on my bowl. The rice noodles was delicate and seeped all the broth goodness. I would not recommend the spring rolls though. It tasted tired and oily. By the looks of it, it was one spring roll sliced into ring sized serving. Not worth its price. The pad thai is good, it was savory and had a fairly good enough toppings of tofu, shrimps and bean sprouts. The spring rolls i must say was served late. Apparently they forgot to forward our order in the kitchen. The spring rolls was served together with our dessert. For 75pesos, the one peso thick banana and langka rolls was laced with sugar syrup (arnibal) it would be nice if it came with a vanilla or green tea or any fruit ice cream scoop. Will order this again. There is a bit of a wait but everything was good. If you want a private, intimate dining experience that won't break the bank, this is a good option here in the south. This restaurant is owned by the Pancake House franchisee from across the street. Senior cards honored. Official receipt is issued upon request.
