Lucky Thai - Murfreesboro

Delicious food, large serving sizes, and best of all, very compassionate and willing to help customers with severe dietary restrictions. My restrictions are beyond just vegan, and most restaurants are unable (or unwilling) to help, but not Lucky Thai. I had a great conversation with Chef Naly and she helped me figure out what I could eat with modifications.

This place goes above and beyond what most other Thai places offer around here for sure! Not far off I-24 either so a great option for vegan food if you’re passing through the area. Loved the vegan wontons, fried oyster mushrooms, and basil fried rice. Will definitely be back!

Lucky Thai has so many vegan options on the menu that are clearly marked. You know that a farm happy cow legit when you see V=vegan! The fried oyster mushrooms were amazing, the spring rolls were super delicious, the tofu in the stirring fried vegetable dish was crowned to perfection, and my husband, who is not a Thai food rookie, said the pad Thai was the best he ever had. We had such a great meal!

Wow, incredible! This place will definitely be my new way to Spot. I am recently back to the area after living in other states for the last 11 years, and am an enthusiastic pho lover. But I'm vegan, and it can be hard to find vegan pho. I had a favorite place where I had lived before and was nervous to find somewhere here, but they absolutely nailed it! Not only that, but basically their entire menu can be made vegan and they are extremely friendly, welcoming and happy to accept all food restrictions. You also have a lot of gluten-free options if this is something you need and/or look for. To round off everything, I had two vegan dessert options that are huge because most places don't even have one, or if they do, it's a bowl of fruit. I never expect to have options unless it's a vegan restaurant, but when I saw the options on the menu, I was ecstatic! I have the fried banana sticky rice (other option is mango sticky rice) and it was one of the most incredible tasting things I ever had. I can't wait to come back and have it back! This is probably my favorite place to go to the city – it’s nice to choose so many things on the menu, but also nice that it’s a “regular” restaurant so that it can accommodate anyone who comes. I don't feel guilty to drag my friends or family with me for dinner and hope they like the vegan cuisine if they get a "normal" meal for themselves while I can also have more than one or two options to choose from. I would have given the restaurant 5 stars if I were allowed, but since it is not a fully vegan restaurant, most of which you can give is 4 stars that seems to me a bit much if I am honest.

We love this place. While it is not 100% vegan (the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5), they will replace each protein with a selection of herbal proteins. They also have many gluten-free choices. Most importantly, the food is super delicious...to the right delicious! The owner is dedicated to providing high-quality food and it is such a wonderful person. We love happiness Thai!
