Creek Ratz - MURRELLS INLET

We chose this restaurant for its live music, menu options, and convenient location, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! Parking was easy, and I was seated on the patio quickly, even at 6:00 PM. Our waitress, Lexi (if I remember correctly), was wonderful. We enjoyed the fried shrimp basket, fried chicken tenders, and the shrimp tacos, all of which were delicious! I highly recommend giving Creek Ratz a try.

We have been visiting Creek Rats since around 2010, and although I haven't been there since 2016, I always enjoyed my experiences. The service remains friendly, just as it was during my last visit. However, I found the quality of the food to be unacceptable for the price. I understand that inflation has affected prices, but paying nearly $15 for a pizza that clearly came from the microwave was disappointing. The tacos resembled frozen fish tossed in with rice. I could elaborate further, but the main point is clear. While we appreciated the excellent service and I left a generous tip, we were eager to leave for the boardwalk—mainly for the view, but also to get away from the food.

The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location with a fantastic view of the deck area. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the food was quite good. Our server was excellent, even though they were busy. It's conveniently located right on Murrell’s Inlet at Kings Highway, near Enterprise 17. Enjoy your time and relax!

Rustic jewel on the water with a curved, irradiated ceiling, fireplace and a nautical flare overlooking Murrells Inlet. You can enjoy indoor and outdoor kitchen with bars for both and live entertainment. On the menu you will find a fully raw bar, fresh seafood, sandwiches, soups and salads, pizza and more at a reasonable price. Our selection this afternoon was the Fish Tacos, your selection of grilled, darkened or fried fish, cabbage, Cheddar cheese and Boom Boom sauce in two flour tortillas. One side of six was for your pickup. We also had our own bowl of chili. The chili was thick and hearty with a beautiful temperament of spices, beef and beans. Fish tacos were a little light on ingredients, but fish had good texture and taste with just that zipper added to them. A nice serving of crispy, thin style frits added to the meal. Savannah was our server and she was friendly, personal and attentive. Good work on their part makes our culinary experience pleasant. Look forward to coming back.

First time here and was very pleased with the food. Fried shrimp is very good. The hush puppies are great. The portions of grilled chicken was big as was the fries. Definitely worth the trip. I will be back next time I come down here. Don?t be fooled by the parking lot, they have lots of tables and other seating.
