Restaurant Suppenalp - Murren

This cute old place is very rustic and serves the best giant carving ever! I was here earlier and knew it was worth waiting because it was busy during lunchtime, waited for late lunch only because of it! The nusslisallat is also fantastic....Friendly service and a visit worth every time in Mürren

We stayed here for one night on a hiking trip. The room was comfortable with a great view onto the mountains. We enjoyed a lovely dinner. The staff were helpful and friendly.

And, you'll get it! The kitchen serves up fresh and delicious soups and lots of other options. Quite a lot of variety, despite the fact that the place is perched way up on the mountainside and only accessible by skis / snowboard or foot. We had a fantastic veggie lasagna, accompanied by a yummy green salad in the total throw-back ski hut atmosphere. Wonderful view on nice days, too. If it's in your range of accessibility to get there, don't miss this very special Alpine treat.

During wintersport we had several lunches in Suppenalp. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is good. I would recommend the cheese fondue or the Riesen Schnitzel (Giant schnitzel). Don't worry, they take plastic money.
