Ocean Basket Mcc - Muscat

This is our place when we long fish and chips. Great ambience and excellent service. The OB fish and chips are our favorite. Very recommended.

A nice restaurant, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is really nice (except the noise from “Buffalo Wings area” ... loved the Zeus starter plate ... the staff are friendly and the service was good ... the place is quietly spacious .... I also tried to her sushi and Maki roles, I was surprised that there are some of the soi connections in Oman that you will definitely not go there...

The ambience and Greek music brought me back to Santorini. Eating looked good. Nice to have bread to wake the palate. The spices of garlic, chilli and olive oil were a delicious companion. The sushi I had was shameful. Deeply fried sushi with salmon vein and rice filling. For years I had a strawberry milkshake with my meal and it was not disappointed. My friend had the fish and chips. The chips were thick steak chips that were really great. The host Tulani was friendly and friendly. Visit and try the Platter for the next time. Can't wait!

Fresh sea taste with Ocean Basket ; This is the first time since visiting Muscat in the City Centre Mall, after reading the reviews we were optimistic to see something new. From outside The restaurant is well decorated and has no cost to provide the customer with a very visual representation that they go to eat seafood. With a beautifully decorated room, divided into different areas to eat only larger group sizes. The tables are also different, making it unique in the shopping center, a rustic culinary experience. 5 out of 5 for a generously decorated restaurant. The menu is very diverse and adheres to the typical seafood menu options that offer a variety of fish, mussels and additional menu elements from rice to good old fat chips. We liked above all the addition of sushi-based seafood alone with the free diving starter that buds your taste for the meal. Drinks are also tempting as they have water and normal drinks for everyone. Prices The entire menu is suitable for all bags, with items from 1.5 to 2 rinds for a dish. Food We ordered a seafood plate, sushi and Mediterranean soup. The soup came first, and was simply delicious with a really creamy base of tomatoes followed by the herbs and taste of the sea (prawns and fish). Followed by the sushi, a total of 6 pieces and was also delicious, crisp as expected and let us want more. The last dish, Seafood not disappointed, it came with a very friendly waiter and the aromatic smell of seafood let us immerse ourselves. The seafood plate was very fresh, smells like the sea and we left nothing, they gave us a mixture of fat chips and rice, so we could have a taste of both options. The shrimps were fresh and tasty, the fish was perfectly cooked and the Calamar was mmmmm left us fully and very satisfied. We would add that the fish had a little too much salt for our pleasure, but we are very picky with food, so in general it would be good for everyone. Customer Service From the time we went, customer service was 10/10, the staff was a mix of multinational companies from around the world and they had experience working in this environment that led us a really nice experience in Ocean Basket. Recommendations If you are in the city center, go up and enjoy Some freshly prepared seafood, even if you wait a long time at the airport, go and try it is just a 10-minute drive away. Good place for seafood. It is located at Muscat City Center mall. There are many shops at this mall, being flocked with lots of people. The usual food court is there. There are also separated restaurants and one of them is Ocean Basket. They have fresh fish, many different dishes mainly mussels, squids calamari, prawns, houmur. We had fish and chips, Calamari 3 ways, bite of the ocean prawns, fish, calamari). They wouldn 't miss having desserts . Combos choice is available. Drinks with mouthwatering flavors. Service is good and place is big enough with plenty tables/chairs setup nicely.
