Shangri-la Barr Al Jissah, Muscat

We had perfect experience with food and staff. The staff was very friendly to us and welcomed us every day. The housekeeping was also nice and fast. The pools were clean and quit. Laze River was also a smart idea. The only problem was the lack of varieties when it came to restaurants (I expected to see Spanish, Italian, etc restaurants). Overall very satisfied with the service!

You feel like a queen in this hotel. Hospitality is very good, all hotel staff are very nice and helpful. We were at al Waha Resort. I like her program to save turtles and their eggs. The resort is huge and offers many restaurant with different types of kitchen. Some of them are expensive, but with delicious dishes. A minus is that there is nothing about the resort and even a grocery store is far away. But the resort has its own shuttle bus that will take you to the Muscat shopping centre or to the market every day. So you can have a quiet and undisturbed holiday just a short distance from the busy center. If I compare price vs quality with other hotels in Muscat, Shangri-La top

Outstanding stay, welcoming and attentive staff. The beauty of the landscape is enormous. The amenities are excellent, access and service to the beach. The idea of the Turtle folder is great. It helps to repair the damage of humanity elsewhere. This forces us to come back!!!

A very good resort, great view (the room is a must). the staff is very friendly and helpful. the breakfast buffet is excellent. my only problem was that it seemed to be miles away from the capital (attractions), but then it is again a coastal place so very ideal if they want one out. but be prepared to drive one because to reach other attractions such as museum of illusions, the opernhaus and the big mosque.
