After reading reviews, we were really looking forward to this meal but unfortunately very disappointed ! We ordered a selection of tapas , the Iberian ham looked out of a packet , the pate served with sliced white bread and the fried Camembert tasted it had been fried in oil that had been used for everything else ! Only garnish on every dish was shredded lettuce carrot ! Nothing like the presentation in some of the photos ! Different chef ? We may have been unlucky and it was just poor choices but on the whole very disappointed !

My wife and I returned to Busot on 6 October after six months exile in Belgium. Our first port of call that evening was La Perla. I had oysters followed by scallops a la plancha while my wife had a scallops salad. Everything was superb, including the accompanying house wine, a Sauvignon Blanc. For dessert we both had a chocolate fondant that completed the evening, apart from the house punch as a chopito. Christophe, the owner, was in good form and we realised just how much we had missed the place. Tonight, 10 October, we returned with our son and repeated our previous experience. This must be the best value in the area. Our only regret is that the restaurant does not seem to be getting the support it deserves.
