Ice Shack - Myerstown

My husband and I love this place. Pulled pig is excellant... ice cream, Yummy. Tonight for dinner and a strawberry shortcake!! YUM!!!!

My family and I love coming here to eat. Food is always fresh and HOT and the staff is always polite. We came on the first opening day of the season and it was PACKED as they were giving away free ice but they did a great job serving people in a timely manner. I see Mr. Ritter was a bit disappointed they were out of most of their ice at the end of the night but I'm not sure what company wouldn't eventually run out of ice especially when they were extremely busy handing it out all day. I disagree that poor management or poor preparations played a part of them running out of ice, with as much ice I saw being given out while I was there I'm not surprised at all that they ran out. I much rather support this small business and go for a burger, fries and ice cream than to go to any fast food chain. I've never had a bad meal or bad service here and we visit this place a few times a month. We LOVE it!
