Kinfolks - Nacogdoches

A hidden gem, Kinfolks restaurant offers home Southern Still Cooking. The staff is friendly and quick to react, even at lunchtime and a complete house. The menu selection is simple and yet full of great dishes. And the Lunch Special items are plentiful with a really good price. We stayed here for the first time on our way back home. We were not disappointed by our choice of Chicken Fried Steak and two sides, plus homemade cakes. I recommend Kinfolks when you're in the area.

Excellent home cooked country foods! They have items on the menu you don 't see very much anymore... purple hull peas and hominy! It was very delicious. The atmosphere was like a small town huge dinner lol large capacity but it felt like a at home place to eat. If given the chance I 'll eat there again.

I loved this place right after we parked. It's a great family oriented diner. We got the menu that was written on the wall. Lol. The food was delicious. If you love tea pots this is the place to visit. Tea pot on all the window seals. Everybody made us feel welcomed

When you want a quick, tasty breakfast, look no further. The service was wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly. We will be adding this to our regular breakfast stops.
