The Old Ambo Cafe - Nambour

We have had several meetings at this restaurant and their chai tea with almond milk is truly addictive. I think the person who prepares it does so with care and love. It is the best!

The coffee is excellent and the food is consistently delicious with an ever-changing menu. They offer a delicious variety of cakes and slices for a delightful morning tea.

My husband brought me to this restaurant for a fast breakfast on a Saturday morning. I was impressed by the food quality - it was tasty and reasonably priced. I would definitely return and recommend others to give it a shot too.

Very nice coffee and muffins. Lovely friendly ladies serving at the counter. Quirky mismatched tables and chairs with a couple of armchairs sitting out the front.

My mother and I called in for breakfast and both loved this cafe. She had the Scrambled Eggs with Asparagus and I had the Avocado on Turkish with the addition of a poached egg. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Prices were great. Can't say cheap because that implies something is substandard but they were inexpensive. Loved the old tables and chairs and we spent the first 10 minutes deciding which was our favourite. Great coffee. The frontage is unassuming so you need to look for it if you're in a car but its worth the effort. Loved this cafe and would happily return again.
