Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered just the pho and canh chua; the seafood canh chua was quite sweet. The pho with rare beef and tendon was decent, but I'm not sure what cut of beef was used—definitely not brisket—so it wasn't as juicy as I had hoped. There were only two pieces of tendon. However, given the price for dining out, it was reasonable. The waiter was friendly and attentive, and there was plenty of seating.

I tried the Special Beef Pho, which was fantastic, but I absolutely loved my boyfriend's choice: the Ginger Chicken Chow Mein, a weekly special. I appreciated how the ingredients were not mixed together but instead arranged as toppings. The chicken was crispy and full of flavor, and even the vegetables were delicious. If you’re in Nanaimo, BC, definitely give it a try!
