Le Cafe du Commerce - Nancy

Cocktails were very tasty and appealing, service was ok (not exceptional). We noticed that there were acquaintances of the waiting staff on the terrace which were loud in their communication together which appears to be unprofessional for such a place.

Living now 6 months in Nancy, Cafe du Commerce, is my go to, The decor is modern, and Chic, and it is warm, and welcoming, I am always greeted with Bonjour Madame, very polite, as of yesteryear, I am always pleased with my food, and the entire staff, only increase my enjoyment of the dining experience. Unlike its next door neighbor, this Cafe serves fines wines, and the staff, has extensive knowledge of the wines that au moment, on the carte. They have made excellent recommendations, which , again only increases the pleasure of each time I dine, while I am a solo diner mostly, they pay special attention to me, knowing my loves, and acknowledging often, asking I will have a coupe du Champagne, The attention to detail is lovely, I recognize many regulars there, , which also confirms my opinion. Families are often there on Weekends for lunch, some rather large, tables, with their pets, well behaved, under the table, It is a chic place to really feel at home, but in a modern setting, the St Jacques, and Burgers among some of my favorite plates, The Plate de jour, a wonderful bargain, and excellent, often choosing fish. You will never be treated like a tourist, instead, you will be treated as a valuable guest, The staff really cares about each party, It shows each time I dine at Cafe du Commence, I promise , you won't be disappointed. Lunch or dinner You will be pleased you took my recommendation.

We saw Beef Wellington on the menu and immediately made reservations. Entrée-Plat-Dessert €38. Wonderful pichet of Bordeaux €24. Good service and environment. Foil gras appetizer. Beautiful location on Place Stanisllas.

Asked for the bill 5 times but had to wait 20 minutes to get it wíth the machine to actually pay. Had dinner there the night before and all was fine, but this was an absolute travesty. Staff so rude I'd only recommend my worst enemy to go to this place. Do not go here.

Passage vers 20h30 au restaurent repas correct mais service plus que déplorable serveur insultant mal polis et plus que déplacé !!!!À éviter si vous souhaitez un moment agréable en famille
