Momoyama Sushi - Nanuet

I'll pass this place all the time. I tried tonight with my friend, it was AMAZING. I'm new to Rockland, but I tried some sushi places. These are the best hands down. I have a role with scallops mushrooms I was in Awe. I had to thank the cook, and our waitress was a sweet Spanish woman!! I'll go back soon.

As locals in the area, it was our first time eating here. Friendly staff, food was great. Good portion and taste. Loved the interior design of the restaurant.

I wish I could this place more stars. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and took very good care of us. Definitely try the fried oysters!! The kids loved the chicken tempura

This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend, and I was positively surprised by my experience. At first glance, it doesn’t look like much, but the sushi I tried was made fresh on-site! The portions were generous and everything was delicious. I ordered six rolls for lunch and asked the server to pick a special one to surprise me. She clearly understood my request, though it was a bit of a challenge to finish everything, as I ended up quite full. There’s a lot to choose from. The Miso soup was excellent! Just a heads up, don’t expect quick service unless you place your order ahead of time. Consider yourself warned! Despite this, I will definitely be returning!

I absolutely love this place! It's my favorite sushi restaurant, even though it's a half-hour drive away. The service is incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently delicious. The sushi is always fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend trying the Tofu Teriyaki, which is perfectly fried, and the sauce is outstanding! If you're a banana fan, you definitely need to try the Monkey Roll (fried banana sushi) or the Jungle Roll (similar but with spicy tuna). The photos were taken during visits over the past couple of years.
