Matzourána - Naousa

Matzourána serves extraordinarily tasty, top quality food at a very reasonable price. My partner and I opted to share the veal livers and beetroot salad to start with and these were incredibly good. So full of flavour snd prepared and presented perfectly. Our mains were also special; lamb pieces with French fried potatoes and pasta with smoked pork and xynomizithra cheese. So good. We were also presented with two exquisitely tasty cheese pancakes on our arrival and served a gorgeous slice of chocolate pie as a dessert ‘on the house’. This was one of our favourite meals in all our travels. This lovely restaurant is in a spectacular setting high above Náousa harbour. Don’t miss it. A real treat.
