Írjon visszajelzéstWe had high hopes for this resort and chose it over others in Napa, but we ended up wishing we were somewhere else. The beds felt as hard as a rock, and the thunderflow in the shower was clogged (it made us wonder if it had actually been cleaned). The furnishings were below standard, with thin, rough, and flat cushions. The rug was old and worn, and the leather on the coffee table was peeling. For a luxury resort, it definitely did not live up to expectations. Additionally, be prepared for a barrage of survey emails if you stay here.
However, when we got to our room, we discovered not only was the hot water still nonfunctional, but the water was coming out brown. The next day, we had to use the spa to shower, which wasn’t very comfortable. Later that day, when we returned and tried to shower again, the hot water still wasn’t working. Fast forward to the morning after, now 48 hours post-check-in, and we had to use the spa once more for our showers. By this point, we realized many guests in our building were experiencing the same problem. We didn’t want to stay another night without functioning hot water, so we asked to cancel our remaining night. Silverado agreed, and we left after the concert. Now, nearly two months later, Silverado hasn’t processed the discount they promised through Hotels.com, where we booked the reservation. They have refunded the last night, but we are still being charged the full amount for a room in which we were unable to use the water. Despite having the bill that shows the discount, they refuse to honor it. Paying $1,200 per night for a room without hot water is completely unacceptable. We understood that issues can arise and appreciated their initial offer of a 25% discount to resolve it. The fact that they’re not honoring that promise now is incredibly disappointing. I will not be returning to Silverado in the future.
Katie, Quinn, and John are the heart and soul of the Harvest! Silverado is the premier destination for tennis, and you won't find a better atmosphere anywhere else. Katie is an exceptional listener who makes everyone feel welcomed, and her incredible energy brings life to every event, whether it's a hospital visit or a fun gathering. Quinn's passion for tennis is evident, and combined with his genuine and friendly demeanor, he ensures that everyone has a great time. John provides tactical knowledge that elevates your tennis game, and his strategy sessions are truly unmatched. Don’t miss the chance to learn from these three fantastic professionals!
I'm not a complainer, but the feeling that others should know what they're getting, as this is widely advertised as a luxury resort with 4/5 stars. we thought the hype would be hit. we checked in the cottages and stayed that we were told were refurbished and had a golf course view. at the arrival we were disgusting to see that our room and the room of our friends both had completely walked down. color falling from the walls, outlet covers missing, our cast iron tub had carved out of it (on the inside of the tub,) the now rusted- the list continues. we went to the reception on our first day and were offered a “upgrade” to move to a junior suite that was rebuilt to be something luxury. we first visited the room, and the ground on the way (outside the sight for visitors) consisted of 100% dead grass. the “revalued” space was also in unevenness. it had color chipping and was old and musty odor. we refused this room because of the bad condition and refused to see more rooms, as we did not want to spend our only day in napa, to search for a hotel for a room that was not falling off, then if we accidentally have a diamond in the rough we need to spend more of our day, to pack everything again, and then pack everything again. At check-out, all this was explained and I asked for a night of our two night stay to be refunded. the manager unfortunately pushed back and did not deliver what was disappointed. I expect that in a luxury resort and spa are treated with respect and compose a night did not seem like a big question. he offered to compose a very small amount. I understand it's a business, but I was made to feel that my expectations were too high and that I was high maintenance. I would have liked to stay in a low-end motel if I wanted to experience a running room and a bad service. we were sold a bill we were not given. we enjoyed the pool area, but they have the opportunity to have closed, eat or drink served in the pool area, and they suggested that we get food and bring it back. there is a very nice terrace outside the main building, but the bar there was also rarely open, so that they had to go over the way to the restaurant, order a drink and bring back. the hotel is very spread, so if they stay in the huts willing to go long stretches, they call a bell man to bring them back and forth, or in their car to drive to the main building. overall, this hotel seems that it used to be very nice on its day, but it is not today. we had moments of great service, but I would say that the service is still bad overall unfortunately. the physical property itself has come down. we were told by a coworker that many units belong to other people and they only sell with the hotel the rooms. Perhaps this is the reason why it is allowed to fall apart because they cannot force homeowners to update their home. we are disappointed by the condition of the own and the defense and the bad solution of the property when it was brought to the attention of the administration. we will not return.
