Mel's Diner Golden Gate - Naples

Overall, the food was quite good. We ordered the main rib, baby ribs, and the all-you-can-eat fish. The fish was slightly overcooked in the first two orders, but the third one was just right. The service took quite a while and wasn’t particularly friendly, but overall, it was still a good experience.

I have to be honest, you should definitely check this place out. When you open the menu, you can really feel the nostalgia. The prices are incredible. I ordered the turkey club with fries, coleslaw, a pickle, and a soda for just $14.32, tax included. You get real turkey and ham for half the price you’d expect. The service was excellent too. Don’t overlook this gem!

Fantastic spot for breakfast! My husband tried Mel's Skillet, and it was absolutely delicious! I went for the Eggs Benedict; the hollandaise sauce was a bit different from what I'm used to. It wasn't bad, just unique. The service was excellent—our waitress was very attentive and made sure our coffee was constantly refilled!

Always a great choice for home cooked meal as I've been here several times and everything is always on point. Excellent chicken noodle soup and Kellie is the best waitress (gotta ask for her)!

I remember when Mel's Diner was a good, affordable place to eat. That has definitely changed. The sparse number of cars in the parking lot suggests that others have noticed this as well.
