Big Daddy's Barbeque - Nashville

We ordered two family dinners for five of us (because we love to eat!) along with six wings. The pulled pork shoulder was very good, but the brisket truly surprised me. I'm quite particular about brisket, having experienced some of the best in Texas, which makes grading barbecue elsewhere a tough standard to meet. However, the brisket here delighted me and surpassed my expectations for a local BBQ spot. Strangely enough, I have to mention the baked beans—they were fantastic! You can tell they put extra care into them. Overall, I feel like I've discovered a hidden gem on the north side of Nashville, conveniently located between I-24 and I-65, two roads I travel frequently. I’m certainly looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. Wanda and A-C have done a fantastic job! Thank you for the wonderful dinner and conversation. I’ll definitely be back!

This was the best brisket and collard greens I’ve ever had. I could feel a tear rolling down my cheek with my first bite of the brisket, and it felt like angels were singing when I tasted the greens. Not to be overly dramatic, but it's truly outstanding BBQ. During my visit, another first-time customer was literally shouting their praises and claimed that all other BBQ places just can’t compare. The only downside is that parking can be a bit challenging.

I absolutely love the hot fish; it's the best I’ve ever had. The beet greens are amazing too!

Oh my goodness! Service... excellent to say the least. Everything was explained to me, all my crazy questions answered. Even the customers there were eager to tell me about their favorite items on the menu! And most all the customers said everything was the best! I got 1lb of pulled shoulder pork, potatoe salad, and 1 whole chicken. Total price came out at 29 dollars. Sides are made to order from scratch. Everything is truly smoked. Fish is cooked to order. Everything is fresh. Food was spectacular and that's not an exaggeration! I'm in love with this little joint. Small restaurant with big flavors and service.
