Bj Hot Chicken - Nashville

The chicken is always excellent, but during my last visit, the fries were poorly seasoned and undercooked. This time, I opted for the mac and cheese, and it was extremely watery—almost like soup, with no flavor whatsoever, just pure water. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.

Stopped in town on a cross country road trip, first time having hot chicken that's not from a national chain. It was. SO. GOOD.The Mac Cheese is a must as well. I'll be back to this place anytime I'm in Nashville.Food: 5/5

Super hot and super good. I got the Catfish Sandwich with mac and cheese. Ordering catfish is risky because some restaurants have trouble making it right but they knocked it out of the park! By the time I finished, I had a runny nose, my eyes were watering and I could feel the spices working their way through my body. It was my first visit to this restaurant, and while the chicken was hot and fresh, I was disappointed that it didn’t have the lemon pepper I requested. The baked beans lacked any seasoning, sweetness, or ground beef; it seemed like they went straight from the can to the stove and then onto my plate. On the plus side, the place was clean and quiet. My meal came with just one slice of bread and three pieces of chicken. I'm somewhat hesitant about returning, but the chicken itself was good, even if it wasn’t what I had ordered.
