Tacos Y Mariscos Lopez 2 - Nashville

Tacos are my favorite, and this is my top taco spot in Nashville. Everything on the menu is reliably delicious, but my favorites are the pastor and chorizo tacos (check out the photos in this post), along with the gorditas, chorizo quesadillas, and the shrimp ceviche (also shown in the photos), which is exceptionally fresh. The staff is very friendly, and the service is excellent. Long live Lopez!

AUTHENTICITY! The atmosphere feels very family-oriented. The servers were genuinely friendly and cheerful! The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! As someone from Los Angeles, I know how challenging it can be to find good Mexican food on this side of the country!

Fantastic, genuine Mexican cuisine! This is the best we've tasted outside of our hometown, San Diego. The pastor and barbacoa sopes, tacos, and grilled onions were all incredibly delicious, along with so many other options. They're open until midnight, and there's convenient parking right in front. Just look for the yellow building with the large sign (note: it isn't lit at night). They accept cash and card payments. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is one of the most genuine Mexican establishments in the city. The portions are generous, and the food is both affordable and delicious. You really couldn't ask for more. We tried the tamales, and they were amazing!
