Cleo Mediterraneo Baha Mar - Nassau

Wow, I don't even know where to start with this restaurant. Food was amazing and service was excellent. I and my fiancée were about a week in the SLS and had problems with breakfast we paid during the booking. But Sebastian, the manager, made sure we take care of each day. His service with his staff was phenomenal. I personally loved the French toast and the eggs. The smoothies are also delicious and the continental breakfast. Please add this to your must when you stay with the SLS.

I suppose one ought to begin with appetizers, as we did our meal: both the spanakopita and sprouts were phenomenal. The main course fish was fresh and came with an array of sauces. Dessert (baklava and nougat) was flawless, we would have taken some to go if we could have managed it! One of our party had several Clementinas, which were refreshingly tart and well spiced while perfectly boozy. To take the meal to the stars, we were served by the wonderful Barry, who even brought out the chef to give us a little taste of one of his favorite dishes and discuss the meal. Overall a marvelous experience, we hope to come back during our stay.

Cleo by far has the best food in Baha Mar. We went for breakfast twice and dinner during our stay. We appreciate that the breakfast buffet was well curated and not just all the food thrown for typical breakfast. There was a mix up with a din er reservation that almost made us lose the spot but they tried to accommodate us and had us come back after an hour because they were fully booked. It was surely worth the wait as the service was great and the food was excellent.

This was probably our favorite meal while at Baha Mar. The design and ambiance of the restaurant is light and fun. We were seated promptly in time with our reservation. Our server was friendly and made delicious recommendations. The lotus flower drink was tasty. Really enjoyed the farro salad and brussel sprouts! The mashed potatoes were delicious. I’d go so far as to say the best I’ve ever had! Super creamy and yummy! The filet kebab was melt in your mouth and the spicy sauce was so good on the side! For dessert we enjoyed the baklava and flourless chocolate cake. Will be looking forward to dining here with our next visit!

We tried four different dinner restaurants while at Baha Mar and Cleo takes the crown for best food. The two of us ordered the Cleo Mezze Platter (photo) and were very impressed. Having many different flavours to try was awesome. Special shout-out to the brussel sprouts and meatless meat balls. Don 't let the price tag scare you, this is definitely the best bang-for-your-buck as prices at Baha Mar in general are steep. We just barely had enough room to finish the platter. The ambiance is beautiful as all the restaurants on resort are. Servers were attentive and friendly. The same cannot be said for the front hostess did not seem to be in a good mood and did not offer a child seat or child when she showed us to our table.
