Malam, Indian Grill Cellar - Nassau

So an elegant restaurant and delicious food. We loved the lamb dogs and the chicken. For pages we enjoyed the lentils, cucumber yogurt and naan bread. The wine selection was also impressive. That was probably our best dinner in Rosewood in our 5 nights.

Best meal of our Bahamas trip by far. The Butter Chicken is unreal, the Grouper is amazing. Loved the spacious setting and the overall dining experience. 100% a must!

They're going to make their money by selling everything separately, so this will end up being a pricey evening. The food was delicious but I never received the promised discount. I also found it weird that Masala was nowhere on the menu. Oddly enough there's steak on the menu, which is absurd for an Indian restaurant. My boyfriend said the steak was very fatty. I enjoyed my butter chicken though.

Beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was excellent and very attentive staff. However, if you know and love Indian food, you will be very disappointed. While the food is enjoyable, it lacks the spice palate and richness of traditional Indian dishes. I suppose they're going for a gourmet feel but I left feeling for more. Also, the staff said plates were for sharing but the portion sizes were individually presented (six shrimp in the prawn curry, 3 lamb ribs for the tandoori, one steak for the ribeye). The vegetables were the most delicious thing I sampled this visit. Also, you will spend a pretty penny to leave hungry.

This place is extremely disappointing for a couple reasons, first of all I don’t think this place knows what Indian food is. I’ve never heard of black pepper chicken or chicken 57!!!! It’s kind of comedic. 2) the portions are laughable. Check out the picture of the pepper chicken priced at $20! The eggplant Barta is literally 4 spoons full came with shrimp chips. I mean am I eating Indian food or Thai food?! 3) if the food was tasty that would be one thing. But the food lack any real taste. I asked for hot sauce they gave us TOBASCO SAUCE! The yogurt definitely has sugar in it was super sweet. This place is beyond disappointing. The only positive was that the decor ambiance is nice. We are here for another 5 days and I’m definitely not coming back to this place.
