Shuang Ba - Nassau

You have the option to choose between roasted crispy duck or hot and sour soup made from the remaining duck, which is essentially two dishes for the price of one. After consulting with the Peking duck chef, Kendrick recommended the white wine, since we didn’t want the hot and sour soup to be too spicy. It turned out to be absolutely delicious! (See the attached picture of the soup.) Kendrick, our Peking duck chef, was both friendly and knowledgeable about baijiu! He even surprised us with a birthday dessert, which my children enjoyed just as much as I did. The decor and atmosphere added a lovely touch that enhanced our dining experience. I’m sure we’ll be back!

For the main course, I ordered Gai Lan and vegetable fried rice, both of which were fantastic. The fried rice was loaded with vegetables and seasoned with soy sauce—no egg. The Gai Lan was perfectly prepared and came with a vibrant sauce. Overall, Shuang Ba was definitely my favorite restaurant at Baha Mar! There were plenty of vegan options, and the food was both delicious and filling. I highly recommend dining at Shuang Ba, but be sure to make a reservation ahead of time. It was challenging to secure a reservation for three during my stay, but I managed to find an opening on another day.

Do not be discouraged from their location, away in the back of the casino. Shuang Ba is worth the money. Beginning you have the atmosphere surrounding a dark red background Your culinary experience along with quiet relaxing music. Each chair has a pillow back so that you can take to the surroundings without getting caught in your seat. The staff is dressed in clean cut dark catering clothes. Speaking of staff, expect a quick experience, you will not finish here in Shuang Ba from the very beginning. Every meal is perfect for you to digest and prepare for your next dish. Regarding their menu, meals are amazing. Expect that many tables order the Beijing duck, brought out from a chef, cut in front of you and served. Every penny in alone. I suggest all they have to offer and whatever you do, do not forget to ask about Dessert Highly recommend Shaung Ba, as I said, you need to work a little to find them on the casino floor, but the trouble pays off

Absolutely amazing! I was truly impressed by the authentic flavors, from the conch to the celery salad (not shown) and the Singaporean noodles. The ambiance is stunning, reminiscent of a beautiful Chinese palace.

Really good food and excellent customer service. I was eating alone and my server was engaging, friendly and unobtrusive. Kendrick was my server and made some great food recommendations. I had the post sticker, sweet and sour chicken and steamed rice. Thanks for the experience!
