The staff was very nice food was just ok, I could not finish my meal. (Disappointed) The toppings were just not fresh and overall lacked flavor.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggiesDietary restrictions: Allergen free menu was confusing and staff could not explain what it meant
We didn’t really know what to expect from this place but it was close to our hotel so we thought we’d give it a try. It’s basically the build-your-own-burrito concept but applied to Mediterranean food. My family didn’t really know what to expect but the staff was awesome and super friendly and walked us through the ordering process and answered all our questions. It was all super good. My wife said she’d eat here every day if she could.
We ate here twice ; the first time , AC was working and second time the AC was broken and the workers had to serve in the heat. the food was good there are a lot of options for toppings and sauces , price is decentFood: 4/5
Looked inside the store to find that nobody was dining in. I initially thought this to be strange; upon entering, I would discover this was because the ac was broken inside and I had to eat outside where it was 80+°F. This being the first time in the mezeh, I was unsure of the process of ordering and the different options available. I was rudely rushed through the order and the staff was not entertaining any of my questions. Instead I felt that they were making decisions for me. The drinks were also disappointing as their was no way to get ice and drinks that were supposed to be cold were instead hot such as lemonade . I understand that the area, National Bay, is more touristy and because of that customer retention is not as important. I still feel that as a national chain, that a good customer service is essential. I did not receive that here. As for the food; it was pretty good. I enjoyed it. The ingredients complimented each other and the sauces pulled everything together.
Wow, so many flavors in one bowl. Very similar to Cava but with more toppings to choose from. I got a chicken shawarma bowl with kale, mixed greens and a ton of toppings. Only thing I’d change is to get less sauces dips next time. I asked for a little tzatziki and a little harissa and she gave me a lot of both, which was too much on top of the dips I added. Other than that, was delicious, and reasonably priced at $13 for a very filling meal. Great location for anyone who wants to explore the National Harbor too.
