Brains At Twelve Knights

I decided to have a family meal at Twelve Knights and we had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the hosts James and Louise were very friendly and accommodating. They truly go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy, which is something you don't see very often nowadays. Our family regularly visits Twelve Knights because we love the friendly atmosphere, great food, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. On Thursdays, steak lovers can enjoy a steak and a pint for under £12, which is great value. If you're not a fan of steak, I suggest trying the Cod as it is also good value for money.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst walking the Welsh Coast path the positives were that the staff all seemed very friendly and wanted to help! The food was ok nothing special but was ok! Breakfast was average! However the room was very basic and we are glad we only stayed one night very tired and needs a bit of TLC. It could be so much better! Whilst the room was very spacious and reasonably clean, it was dated and needed a refresh! Tolerable for one night but nothing more!

We had prebooked a party at this restaurant, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the meals that were served. All of the steaks were overcooked and burnt, and the service was incredibly slow. Additionally, the menu claimed to have dairy-free options, but this was not the case. If you have any allergies, I would advise being cautious when dining here.

Absolutely awful, only given one star because I couldn’t give zero. Ordered dairy free meals which was challenging enough because the menu is false and things that say they are vegan are actually not, only to come home in crippling agony because something clearly had milk in. Not only myself but my 8 year old daughter have both arrived home in agony!! Absolutely diabolical would not recommend this place to anyone!!! Food was preordered as we were a large party and even when it was brought to the table and I asked “is that dairy free” the response was “I don’t know”!! With plenty of time to prepare that was not only unacceptable but completely unprofessional!! And as an FYI they are also unable to boil a potato as everything comes in pre made and is “warmed up” so a boiled potato instead of mash (which contains milk) is not an option. Even with a weeks notice the “chef” was unwilling to boil a potato to accommodate for an allergy! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Had the hunters chicken with chips, and side salad, chips and chicken were ok. Salad should have been thrown 3 days ago. Limp and dying. Friend found a hair in her salad. Not good won't be back in a hurry.
