Le Vendome at Charela Inn - Negril

We had one of the best meals and service in Negril. Highly recommend this restaurant.

An awkward experience with the server who did not come to take our order for an inordinately long time despite being admonished by the coordinating manager. It was not clear why.

Wonderful setting able to see and hear ocean, food is excellent with a French flare 2 nights a week has free music and dancing always go when in town

New Year’s Eve When we got there and gave the lady our name for the reservation she quickly said that there is no reservation in that name. She didn’t look it up she just flippantly said that there was no reservation. She seated us and we waited for 30 minutes for someone to come to our table and then they asked us what we wanted to order. We told them that they can see that we have no menus. We got the menus and placed our drink order but that took so long we asked to order our food. The food took 2 hours to arrive and was tasteless. The Snapper was over cooked and lacked the coconut taste that was supposed to be the sauce. The lobster linguini was tasteless and had 5 small pieces of lobster. Overall a negative experience.

I originally came for breakfast, but ended up staying for lunch and even lingered on through the afternoon. I also had the pleasure of enjoying the beautiful 7 mile beach nearby, which was truly amazing.
