Town Country - Nerang

Thirty-six of our members met yesterday evening at our Christmas party at the Town and Country Restaurant. The feedback was especially positive for the attentive service, 3 courses and drinks. There were special diets and this was treated with efficiency. Thanks to Jamie and staff. Jason offered beautiful music added to the atmosphere. Overall a very pleasant evening felt despite the hot, damp conditions on the deck. Yeah, we're coming back.

The Wilson's Greg and Jodie stayed at your motel this week and speak very highly of your staff (very friendly and helpful), rooms (fresh and neat), the bathrooms (very clean and fresh) and parking for their truck was roomy and secure, best night sleep they've had in a motel ever. Thank you so much and keep up the great work, your motel is a credit to you all.

Did not get much sleep because of terrible sloped bed and noisy air conditioner. There were stains on spare pillows. Room was very out dated. Small TV. Checked out early so we wouldn't ruin our trip completely and were charged for the second night anyway! Called the hotel to complain but they just said we had to give 24 hours notice. We were only staying two days and didn't know how bad the room was until the first night! Very disappointed for the price it should have been a lot better. We should have listened to the other reviews of this venue on the internet :

We did not get much sleep because of the sagging bed causing us to roll into the middle all night, the pillows were atrocious with the stuffing hanging out of some and the blankets looked to be 20 years old, the shower although it appeared to be recently renovated was terrible with a shelve that you banged into every time you moved and then to top it off you have the noise from the freeway all night. They couldn’t even cook egg tomato on toast for breakfast properly so although we were booked for four nights we left after the first and they refused to refund any of the nights that were booked even with more than 24 hours notice for two of the nights. This would have to be one of the worst motel experiences we have ever had.

Overcharged on credit card. They made an unauthorized transaction on my credit card for $150 have rudely refused to refund my money. When challenged they claim it was for smoking, I am a non smoker, never smoked my room had a strong smell of cigarettes on check in. Do not give this business your credit card details !!!!
