I often visit the area for work and from time to time we head up into the hills to eat here. I am always delighted whenever we do as this is in my opinion the best restaurant in the area.The feel here is modern but classic Bavarian, the food and service are always excellent. If you go in the summer try to sit outside and take in the incredible view. If you go in the winter, try to sit outside by the log fire and take some gluhwein.I always look forward to a trip here and you should try and visit it too a genuinely excellent place to spend an evening.

Have been there for two weddings recently. Nice location and very good food. Service is good as well. Highly recommended is the "biergarden"

I lived near this hotel and the service food and the owners are 1st class.if you visit neumarkt give this 1 a try you wont be dissapointed.the rooms are clean,comfortable and was really made to feel at home.i ended up making this my local as the beer is fresh and the staff are so helpful even though my german is not brilliant.They made me feel welcome and could not do enough for me every time i visited this hotel/restaurant. i never had a bad meal and the staff are absolutely fabulous

The menu fully details the origin of all ingredients and is home made.Still you don't have to wait long before you can enjoy regional food in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere with a great view (during day time) overlooking the valley.We also stayed there for a some days and got served a solid, again high quality, breakfast.Great family style place when you are visiting the region or are in Neumarkt on business.
