Hostellerie Bacher - Neunkirchen

Here on business trip before, but didn't know how good it was to eat. restuarant is michael star standard and not so expensive. service in restaurants is exceptional. good breakfast and comfortable beds.

It has been a few years since the fabulous woman Bacher, a true cook, left, but her name remains nostalgic. The beautiful restaurant and hotel in good location of Neunkirchen is managed by Hermann Woegerbauer and his team. Especially on a...other day, the restaurant seats are both inside and outside wonderful bright spaces in cream and yellow colors, very attractive indeed. On a not so busy Sunday, our table ordered the five courses of the “Wiener Menu” for a moderate 42. Euro per, plus wine and aperitifs. The Amuse Gueules very excellent, especially the small espresso cup with asparagus soup was delighted. The slightly bland steak was boiled too long and covered too much with an onion crust, at least for my taste. The desert was very nice and delicious. The restaurant is perfectly clean and the young service staff is friendly and fast. The restaurant offers good quality food wonderfully presented at an attractive price. The restaurant is somewhat impersonal, no one has taken our hands after departure or greeted us, or offered other occasions during dinner. Nevertheless, the restaurant is recommended.

From outside Hostellerie Bacher looks like any other hotel on the roadside in Germany and there ends the similarity. When passing through the conservatory entrance you know that this will be special somewhere, as an air dominates the tranquility and you... hit by Mrs. Woegerbauer and shown in your room accessible by a beautiful spiral, marble cantilever staircase. The rooms themselves are very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The best is still to come, you know when you go to dinner that you don't even consider eating elsewhere here as your roommates are here for the serious intention to eat well. The menu is so carefully planned that you need time to make your choice as every dish and course is equally appealing. Your pre-dinner gift from the kitchen arrives and we find that we are all served a party of six, not the same item, they are presented to not bump with the starters. The appetizers arrive and they are all so tidy and precise and so delectable, the main course and desserts are also up to Michelin Standard, you can really say that Hostellerie Bacher is a jewel. What a brilliant find!

Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und einem Kind zu Gast und hatten beide das Hostellerie-Menue. Für Kinder gibt es eine eigene Karte oder die Möglichkeit eines Räubertellers (Gedeck um bei den Eltern mitzuessen).Leider waren mehrere Gerichte (Lamm und Hummer) aus; ebenso die Chorizokruste des ersatzweise gewählten Fleischs.Abgesehen davon, dass viele Gänge oder einzelne Zutaten nicht verfügbar waren, war die Qualität der Speisen gut, wenn auch geschmacklich keine Überraschung. Das Fleisch des Maishähnchen beim surf & turf hätte nicht ganz so lange gebraucht; Höhepunkt war das Physalis-Chutney.Sehr freundlich fanden wir den jungen Mann im Service, der zu jedem Zeitpunkt um unser Wohl besorgt war. Auch die Terrasse mit den wunderschönen, ausladenden Lavendelsträuchern lädt zum längeren Verweilen ein. Für die Qualität der Speisen und in Anbetracht der Erwartungshaltung, die erweckt wird sollte das Preisniveau etwas nach unten angepasst werden.

Vom ersten Beratungsgespräch bis zum Veranstaltungsende alles perfekt, das Arrangement zur Trauung vor Ort im Pavillon war wunderbar, vom Sektempfang bis zum frühen Morgen war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit, das Essen ein Traum, Chef, Chefin und das gesamte Personal haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert, spontane Wünsche und Änderungen waren kein Problem. Die im Gesamtpaket enthaltene Suite war sehr schön und herrlich für uns vorbereitet. Was uns besonders gefiel: Bei aller Exclusivität und gehobenem Ambiente, herrscht in der Hostellerie Bacher-Wögerbauer eine erfrischende Bodenständigkeit. Dies haben auch alle unsere Gäste bestätigt.
