What a great selection. Great hot foods, wonderful and helpful staff. A must go for Polish items. Fresh baked breads and pastries.
What a place! So much to choose from: deli, bakery, hot prepared food, sandwich counter and tons of polish items on the shelves. We went on a busy Sunday morning but there was good parking and not many lines.
My fam loves this place. The products are fresh and fully stocked on shelves. They often run out of bread and certain popular desserts, so you have to go early, in order to find what you're looking for. Generally, the staff is always friendly and willing to help. There have been a few of them that act as if they can't hear you or truly, they don't want to be there and they speak their language, keep their heads down and walk away so for that reason I took a star off, otherwise, we love buying items from here and trying new things. The cash area is always quick and they do accept cash, debit and credit. They have a minor drink area with imported beer. They also sell a few basic produce too. As soon as you walk in, to your left, you will see a restaurant and they have a seating area to get a sandwich and or sit to read a newspaper, etc. They also make brewed coffee there as well. They have two counters for deli meat. One in the front beside the desserts and cheese section and the second area is to the back, where they have homemade cuts back there and I'd suggest going there to see what they have also. A person will come out to help you and to freshly cut whatever you need. Beside that back area of deli meats, they have a hot counter of assorted ready-to-eat food items and it differs every day and they also have a salad bar with main popular Polish salads, predominantly made of cabbage, beets and or assorted veggies, etc. Overall, we tried a few of their ready-to-go foods but we like to make homemade stuff at home because we generally go pretty late and the food sits out for a while and loses the freshness (at least, that is our experience from that section). We definitely hit up the salad bar area and the deli for freshly cut meats. They have a vast dairy section and a whole other area with assorted products. A section for tea, desserts, cookies, drinks, etc. It's a fully stocked store and I guarantee if you've never been there before, you will need at least 1 or 2 hours, reading what things are and seeing things you've probably never seen before. A lot of it comes from Europe and most items are literally not even in English so you have to see by the pictures, what they are. Reasonably priced overall!! It's a fun and cultural experience if you are not Polish and definitely a lot of delicious things to try. I think you should give it a try and know that they are very clean there. The hours are shorter than other stores so be careful and mindful of that. They are CLOSED MONDAYS!! Open Tuesday-Friday from 7am-7pm and Saturday, they close at 6:30pm and Sunday, they close at 2:00pm. We love their cheese and apple danishes or streusels ... OMG! Soooo good!!! Check them out!!!!
