Írjon visszajelzéstTwo friends and I arrived at approximately 10:00 pm, I had a yards IPA and my friends got a gin and seltzer and some other beer. I got lamb shish kebab, my friends got something else but it all looked very similar. It was delicious and they didn't rush us out even though we stayed 15 minutes after they closed. Props to the super cute waitress. Great food and chill atmosphere
I LOVE this place. This is the STANDARD restaurant for Middle Eastern (or Arabic food in central New Jersey. You will have TROUBLE finding a place in this area that has better hummus, falafel, tabbouli, lentil soup, or baklava pastry, for example. I have been enjoying eating at Evelyn's since 1993, when I first moved into the Somerset and Middlesex County area, and in fact just enjoyed this restaurant again, TODAY, with my girlfriend of the past 8 years. This place is owned and run by Lebanese Christians, of the Maronite Church. They speak Arabic, cook eat Arabic food, and listen to Arabic music, and yet they are CHRISTIAN, and believe in Jesus, as much as I do. And their food is EXCELLENT. I give Evelyn's Restaurant FIVE STARS. P. S. They have a real nice outdoor dining area, in back of all the storefronts on Easton Avenue, accessed thru the alleyway next to their storefront on Easton Avenue, designed and built at least ten years ago. And it's great in the warm months, like this one (not no flimsy temporary, makeshift arrangement, like so many OTHER eating establishments have right now, and it even has a nice wooden BAR in the center of their outdoor, backyard patio-type dining area. I enjoyed it QUITE a bit, today, 9/9/2020.
Nice lunch spot, with food that’s really good for the price. They have an outside bar in the back which is a nice place to hideaway and feel like you aren’t in New Brunswick. During summer weekend nights, the place really livens up with some music and a younger crowd.
Excellent location for delicious Lebanese food. Service is prompt even when they are busy. Certainly worth a return trip. The place has an awesome atmosphere. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.
This restaurant is fantastic! The drinks are outstanding, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious! It might be a bit on the expensive side for college students, but it's perfect for a special date night. For those who aren't college students, the prices are quite reasonable and definitely worth it! The outdoor seating area is lovely and provides a relaxing atmosphere during the summer. Plus, they have implemented COVID safety measures, so you can feel completely safe if that’s a concern for you. I highly recommend this place!
