Oink's Dutch Treat - New Buffalo

The old-fashioned restaurant is fantastic. There may be long lines, but the service is efficient. The prices are a bit high, but worth it for the memorable experience. It's the perfect place for families to stop. I tried the amazing butterscotch chip ice cream.

Yet another New Buffalo eatery with lazy employees, what is it with this town? Teenage employees standing around chatting while the line of customers is out the door. They ALSO do not take credit cards (we found many New Buffalo resteraunts don't take them). I'm not sure we will ever return.

I tried several of the ice creams and Noe were that great. There's no such thing as bad ice cream but these guys tried their best.

This is what you would expect from a small town ice cream shop that has been around for decades. They have generous portions, a wide variety of flavors, and one of the best atmospheres I've ever experienced in an ice cream shop. They only accept cash or checks, so they only receive a rating of 4.

Awesome ice cream! This restaurant is a great spot for families to enjoy. A must-visit in the city. The staff is always friendly, even during busy times. They have a variety of fun drinks available. A standout feature is their delicious desserts, some of the best in the city!
