New London Seafood Restaurant

We dropped in for a beer and a light lunch after a morning of touring. We were seated out back where we had magnificent views. We ordered oysters and a lobster roll. The food was superb, as was the beer that we washed the food down with. Service was good too.

We stopped here while on a motorcycle trip to PEI during a rain storm. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and would definitely recommend this place.

Great food, great portions sizes, friendly, clean, delicious meal at reasonable prices. Only negative is the restaurant is located in an area of poor cell service but since I was enjoying my meal so much I was happy no one could phone me! Left very satisfied and will certainly be going back!

-mPaid our second visit is three days to Sou’West restaurant. It did not disappoint. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly knowledgeable about the food and drinks. On both occasions the food was exceptional. I visited with 3 friends and we all chose different dishes second time around as the choice was so varied appealing. Would highly recommend a table on the terrace overlooking the water. It’s an amazing place to eat. If I wasn’t heading back to the UK tomorrow, I’d be back to eat again! Do yourself a favour, get a flight of beer relax.

Was seeing a ceilidh with out of province friends and looked forward to a great fish dinner. We all had the pan fried? haddock anyone who knows haddock knows that it is never uniform small rectangle shapes (all the same). The Haddock pieces were definitely frozen and re heated, dry and quite tasteless, the in season vegetables were frozen mixed broccoli, cauliflower and carrots again no taste. At the unbelievable price of $22.00 they should be ashamed and especially for stating this at the top of their menu “At Sou’West we feel that quality and freshness are worth the time and effort. “ An expensive and most disappointing experience!
