Lakota Lookout - New Castle

We had a blast at this beautiful golf course! We have played many courses and this was one of our favorites. The views are absolutely breath taking and the golf is challenging but fun. The greens were in fantastic shape, spongy and fast. Course is very well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful. If you get the opportunity, definitey play Lakota Links.

First time playing this course and it was awesome! Course was in really good condition. It's a fun course with unique holes and lots of elevation changes. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. Love that they have a Youth on Course rate (that's why we chose to play there). Not overly busy for Labor Day weekend. It would be nice to have GPS on the carts, the bunker areas need some attention, and they put people in front of us when we made the turn, which is always frustrating. We'll definitely play again when in the area.

Lakota Links is an absolute gem that offers stunning views of the mountain with almost very shot. The course has fast sloped rolling greens and tight fairways. Almost every drive or approach shot requires precise accuracy. Many holes feature big downhill elevation changes that showcase the beauty of the course and mountains. Favorite holes were 2, 5, 8, 11, 15, 16, and 18. Golf course design on 5, 16, and 18 are excellent. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

I played this course this past Friday. Unfortunately half way through my 9 I came in contact with some golfers that were extremely rude. As I was headed back to the club house I met Emily (assistant general manager) who took the time to make everything better, even though she was in the middle of a scramble. As a general manager myself I can say I fully appreciate and respect Emily’s professionalism and ability to turn a bad experience into an amazing experience! Lakota Links is very lucky to have an employee like Emily! I huge thanks to her for making everything right! I will definitely be back and recommend any one considering playing here 10/10 !
