Írjon visszajelzéstI always choose this restaurant as my favorite spot. I adore the food here. I usually order takeout, and it never disappoints - always fresh and perfectly cooked. My favorite items to order are the Chicken Pad See Ew, Crispy Spring Rolls, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Thai Iced Tea.
During my last visit, I ordered the pumpkin curry with brown rice. According to their website menu, brown rice was listed as an additional cost of $1.25. However, when I arrived in person, I was informed that a pint of brown rice actually costs $3.50. I was disappointed by the misleading pricing, but I paid nevertheless. Upon returning home and opening the brown rice, I noticed that the portion was significantly smaller than what I usually receive with their white rice. They only filled the container halfway. Paying $3.50 for less than a full pint of brown rice felt like a rip-off. I called the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction, and the person who answered explained that they weigh the brown rice on a scale, heat it up, and then transfer it to the pint container. She mentioned that a full pint of brown rice was not available, and her response came across as rude. In my opinion, deliberately providing customers with small portions of brown rice, especially at nearly $4 per pint, is unacceptable. Management should consider offering better value for this price. Charging so much for half a pint of rice in a full pint container is unjustifiable. Moreover, dismissing a dissatisfied customer's concerns only adds to the negative experience. If stinginess defined a restaurant, it would be Saap Lao Thai Cuisine.
I have tried salmon and shrimp fried rice, whole fried snapper, stir fry, curries, and appetizers at this restaurant. I found all of them to be delicious. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family members.
I use to love this place! It is so sad how quickly it went downhill. I ordered the cashew dish with tofu and was served stale cashews, maybe 4 in the entire dish, and everything else was bland. I asked for the condiments which are usually complimentary in Thai restaurants, but they charged me for the sauce. I wouldn't mind paying if it was fresh sauce, but it came out in these plastic containers where the lids were incredibly sticky. This makes me wonder how dirty the kitchen must be. It's the little things people! If you are going to own a restaurant, clean things you are serving your customers. Also, the server wasn't friendly, seemed irritated and put off when I asked for napkins. Well, maybe the .50 x 5 you charged me for the condiments will go towards a tip cause I'm certainly not paying it. Also, this place smells like nail polish fumes from thevnail place next door. Just an all around cruddy experience and huge waste of money! Penny pincher restaurant owners never succeed...true facts.
Reason for 4 Star is just for the ambiance. Only need to put new ce5tiles and new lighting and it will be nice place rather than dark and run down.But...Food is EXCELLENT. Spring rolls were fresh, Pad Thai noodles had nice flavor, Soup was Delicious, Drunken Noodles was nice as well. Service was great.Just need to update little bit.Definitely go to for food.Vegetarian options: Has good Vegetarian options as you can substitute meats for Tofu or just noodles. Not for VegansParking: FreeWheelchair accessibility: Yes
