Agnello's Brick Oven Pizza - New City

Went to eat here with a bunch of family members to see if we wanted to cater our daughters birthday party with them. After going back and forth many weeks speaking of the date many times even getting as far as placing the order only to be told when I was asking for the price that they aren't open that day (a Saturday) and can't help me..ridiculous. Poor communication. Was planning on spending $400. Will not be recommending.

Oh dear .... the service here is beyond a joke ... it isn't the servers fault it isn't the pizza makers fault... it is the head of house guy with slick hair ... he has a very bad attitude towards the customers and his server boy ....the reviews are reallll..... I asked the total of my bill and was given a price as the boy promptly swiped my card and the receipt was more than he told me .... just tell the customer it will be this price plus a percentage for using a card ..... then there is a hair on my pizza. ....3 other people complained of service while I was in there ... I hope the management takes notice of reviews like this before they have to shut their doors

Today, we were heartbroken to hear the news that they are retiring and closing the restaurant. Our kids took it particularly hard, as going to Agnello's was always a special treat compared to the usual local pizzerias. We wish the Agnello family all the best in their retirement and are grateful for all the wonderful family meals they've provided us. With their closure, we're truly at a loss for finding pizza of the same quality and authenticity. Thank you, Agnellos! Thank you!

The owners have behaved unethically. They abruptly closed the restaurant and are refusing to refund gift certificates. It feels as though they’ve taken people’s money without a thought for their customers. I truly hope I don’t come across them in person.
