Catstrand - New Galloway

Great little find! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which really made our day, even though we arrived after they had stopped serving. It's a lovely little establishment too. Definitely worth a visit!

I came across this place while traveling from Hole Ken to Dalbeattie. It's a gallery and shop with a café, although I didn't go inside the café. I was feeling a bit too frustrated at the time. The wicker bull outside is quite impressive. I had a good laugh at some of the things the kids made with the soft toys in the gift shop!

Excellent dining and coffee at the café. It features a lovely selection of gifts created by local artists.

This is a great community center that offers a gift shop with a wonderful selection of gifts and cards, a licensed caffe on the heck that has a tasty lunch, cakes and drinks that I had baked kartoffel that came with a wonderful salad and then on different dates there is live entertainment. all this in a small community sitting in the galloway forest, so many places to go after lunch

Great place for a light lunch. Lovely staff. Very helpful. Not to mention a photographic opportunity
