Cafe Canole - NEW HARTFORD

I went in with my two toddler boys and we picked a few pastries we liked. When I asked if we can have a table, the girl said I think we have a lot of reservations . At least half of the tables was free at the moment. I 'm still shocked! Not to let thelittle ones enjoy their pastry? What 's wrong with these people?

Amazing! We loved everything we ate and it's a beautiful restaurant.

Bought a couple of cannoli the cream was good but the shells tasted as if they were refrigerated for a while had that weird taste.

The place was clean and the food was good. Decent prices and great service. Fish oreganata was great!

There is a bakery and a restaurant each with different hours. Both the bakery and the restaurant items are on the more expensive side, however, it can be justified due to their large portions. For me personally atmosphere is very important and this is why I probably won't be returning. It is very loud and it seems as if everyone knows each other there which maybe off putting for some. Furthermore, I'm hoping it was just a bad night but the cheesecake was terrible. It tasted as if sour cream cheese was used. I've had other bakery items before and did not experience this. For those wondering they do not offer gf/vegan pasta or pastries at this time.
