Koreana - New Haven

Came here once in the new year and really liked it. I stole my picky Asian friends and they ignored it. what I really like is that the owners are Korean and the foods taste so legit and amazing and MSG-free! we were a party of four and ordered cheesery rice cake, spicy pork, jjangjjangmean and seafood pancakes. we've wiped everything out! And it cost us only $16 with tipp. w amazing. the portions are huge for the price! the poor is massive and could easily feed like four to five people. I wish it was closer, but it was so fantastic.

This restaurant was opened only a week ago (august 2018) and it is already a super cozy atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff. I went with a big group so we could order everything from the menu (almost) and I can't wait to go back. amazing eating, lovely people, because it is the 8th day was wonderful. I live in the neighbourhood and this is a welcome supplement!

Exceptional eating and a great service. we ordered two appetizers and two appetizers and were overloaded with food! kimchi pfannkuchen was surprisingly delicious. serve not pictured pirate hot bibimbap in a buck. we sat and served quickly on a rainy morning. would definitely recommend!

Finally gave this place a try and are so glad we did! We are particular with where we eat, especially when it comes to places that serve fermented sides. But they were fresh and fermented just right! and the bibimbop in the hot dish, SO GOOD! The manager was friendly and personable, my husband cant wait to go back and try the bbq! Really hope this place sticks around, would love to add this as go to place!

We got 7 banchan and one of them was new to us water kimchi! All very tasty. Courteous service and the food came out very quickly. We got Stone pot bibimbap and the taste was good but the rice was a bit mushy. Will return for other food we didn't try!
