Seoul - New Haven

This is the best Korean restaurant in New Haven, and the atmosphere is fantastic! As someone who spent five years in South Korea, I can confidently say that. I ordered the bulgogi with rice, and it came sizzling on a hot plate, so be cautious and mix it with the rice. You can't go wrong with this dish! The meal also includes several small side dishes, like kimchi, perfect for cleansing the palate. They have options for vegetarians as well. It's an ideal spot for a date night, as it’s not too loud, allowing for easy conversation!

We enjoyed an authentic Korean dining experience on a quiet Saturday afternoon, as we were the only patrons for a while. The food arrived promptly. However, the kimchi pajun was not what we had anticipated, as it can refer to various styles; we probably should have asked for clarification. This version resembled more of a vegetable pancake, sweet with a light swirl of kimchi rather than being kimchi-forward. The rice in the stone pot bibimbap had a lovely crispy texture from being nicely burnt, which complemented the soft vegetables beautifully. The house special kalbi was expertly marinated, while the boneless short ribs were tender and flavorful. Overall, it was a delightful lunch in a serene atmosphere.

The food at this restaurant is really good! I ordered rice and a meat dish (I can't quite remember the names), but everything tasted delicious. The server was very friendly and attentive. Our order was ready in under 10 minutes, which was great because I was quite hungry. There are designated parking spots for customers, and the entrance is accessible as well. Overall, I had a wonderful experience!

Amazing taste of Korean food and culture. the owner server and cook, kindly greeted us and went through the menu. It was so sweet and happy to help. eating was really great. the portions are something on the larger size, so we had leftovers. I am definitiw back.

I went there and it was the best experience I’ve ever had. The owner and his wife where so nice and friendly, they talked to us and we felt very welcomed. We ordered the 떡볶이 and 물고기 it was amazing!! The wife makes everything by hand the 김치 was the best I’ve ever had!!! Would 100% recommend going there.
