Liu Garden - New London

A great Chinese restaurant nearby was one of the things I really missed after moving to New London. A few months after settling in, I discovered this place, which has now become our go-to spot. We live close enough to enjoy delivery (although I can't comment on the delivery service) and our orders are always ready in no time. The staff is friendly, and they offer good promotions like free soda or fried rice when you spend a certain amount. Their combo options are excellent, and the fried food is crispy without being greasy. The meat is tender, and I particularly enjoy their hot and tangy soup, which is a rare find for me.

We order from here every week, and I've never had any issues. They are truly the best! The food is always delicious and looks fresh. I've tried other places nearby, but none of them compare. Their delivery is consistently quick, and if I choose to pick up my order, they call me right when it's ready. Their ice is also fantastic—definitely worth trying! I highly recommend the Thai fried egg; they even sent me a free one! Thank you, Golden City Restaurant!

The prices are excellent, delivery is quick, and the food tastes good. Unlike some Chinese restaurants that offer soggy, reheated dishes, the food here maintains a nice crispiness. However, the bun could be a bit more tender, and it's worth noting that they do not offer delivery.

I love this restaurant. this is my way to cook Asian style. I would give a higher assessment, but today's order was not very good. I ordered coconut shrimp, coconut chicken, golden wontons and chicken fingers, which our order over $40 so we have the free general tso’s chicken. I can usually eat the general tso. Today I couldn't. it was so hot that my lips, cramps and throats were on fire, and somehow the golden wontons were as hot, although they should not be. also this order and order before we never got the soda that came with the all day special. we used the beyond menu app. I will order from here again, but if there is still a chaos, I will look for another restaurant.

Not gonna lie the food is good. But their service is horrible!!! I literally have been waiting here for OVER an hour and a half! I'm very disappointed. I like the food but their customer service and delivery service is very crappy.
