Canal Street Bistro - New Orleans

Had brunch here with my family. We had a very pleasant experience! The food was delicious and our server Emily was Awesome! Will definitely eat her again and recommend to friends!

Absolutely amazing restaurant. My family and I are locals and we came across this place by random for Sunday brunch and decided to go in. Let me tell you, we are SO glad that we did. We had such an amazing experience..I hardly know where to start. The gorgeous, quaint setting in mid city with the large open windows to watch the street cars pass by and great jazz music playing to start off brunch were the first things we noticed. Then, our server was the most inviting, welcoming, enthusiastic person we could've asked for. I believe her name was Cathy and she should get all the credit she deserves. Now, the FOOD! OUT OF THIS WORLD. Oh my goodness, we ordered a bit of a variety and ended up sharing all of our food because it was all SO phenomenal. This place really knows how to create an outstanding, diverse menu and execute their dishes to absolute perfection. And to top it all off, one of the owners (or the owner's daughter, I believe? , came and checked on us and then proceeded to talk to us for a while about the background of the restaurant and our entire experience. That is the kind of personal touch that you just can't put a price on. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. This place was so great to us that we made such great memories here that we've already declared it an official tradition for us to return here whenever we all get together again.

Loved this place and only went from the reviews on yelp!!!! Great chicken and waffles, waitress suggested steak fries, and we ordered extra sausage. A little pricey but sooooo worth it! Def one of my spots now! Staff was friendly and food came out pretty fast.

We just wanted drinks and maybe a snack, and we ended up spending hours! The food was so good, and the drinks so fresh; I cannot over-recommend this bistro!

Our server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options. The GF chicken and waffles was outstanding!
